Ybbsitz - the centre of forging! Actually, forging in Ybbsitz, one of the beautiful places on the Iron Road, has never stopped. At least not for the last 800 years. Through the increased revival of the old tradition of forging one hears today as then the hammering and grinding, both in modern factories and in old hammer mills.
The "Schmiedemeile" allows guests to immerse themselves deeply in the history of the place. And in the “FeRRUM” museum there is also interesting information to learn. In addition to deep insights into history, the Prochenberg, among other things, provides breathtaking views.
