Soon it will be time to dig out your skis and hit the slopes! Here you’ll find all the latest information about the upcoming and already announced season openings of the winter sports areas.
Note: The actual season start dates depend on snow conditions. Please check the platforms of the respective ski areas and during the season refer to the trail and snow reports, which are regularly updated from the start of the season.
Small, charming ski areas
Ski Area Maiszinken in Lunz am See
Estimated season start: Friday, November 29, 2024, from 1:00 p.m., if snow conditions permit.

Ski Area Königsberg in Hollenstein/Ybbs
Estimated season start: Friday, December 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m., if snow conditions permit.
Afterward, weekend operations are planned from 9:00 a.m., as long as snow conditions allow. You can find all the information about this ski area here.
Ski Area Hochkar in Göstling/Ybbs
Estimated season start: Friday, December 6, 2024, if snow conditions permit.
Continuous lift operation is planned until April 6, 2025 (subject to snow conditions) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ski Area Ötscher in Lackenhof
Estimated season start: Saturday, December 7, 2024, if snow conditions permit.
Continuous lift operation is planned until March 16, 2025 (subject to snow conditions) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00/4:15 p.m.
On December 24, 2024: open until 3:00/3:15 p.m.!
