Travel through Waidhofen an der Ybbs without a car

The charismatic city of Waidhofen/Ybbs offers plenty of opportunities to travel from A to B without a car.

Waidhofen an der Ybbs is a very good example of a city with great infrastructure to travel via public transport.

To get to Waidhofen/Ybbs the easiest way would be to go by train or even by bus, if you are coming from the surrounding towns. More info about travelling to the Ybbstal Alps from somewhere further away & bus schedules for our regional line busses, you can find here.

To get around within the town, there are three city bus lines.

Line 1 - "Raifberg" until "Gymnasium"
Line 2 - city transport between "Schwellöd" & "Unterer Stadtplatz"
Line 3 - "Zell" main street until "Berta" street & then until "Unterer Stadtplatz"

There is also the city train that drives between the main train station in Waidhofen/Ybbs and "Pestalozzi" street.
