Due to its high alpine climate, the home mountain of many World Cup skiers is one of the most popular ski resorts in the Eastern Alps. Eight ski-lifts, 27 slopes with a total of 19 slope kilometers, a children's area and a funslope offer pure skiing pleasure. Not only at the Hochkar summit at 1,808m above sea level, you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view. The entire ski area offers magnificent panoramic views and postcard motifs as far as the eye can see.
A mountain for all needs
Not only for top athletes and Olympians like Kathrin Zettel, Thomas Sykora and Kathi Gallhuber the Hochkar holds its slopes prepared. Both beginners and professionals will find their winter happiness on these slopes.
If you're looking for a little more action, Route99 is a slope with a particularly fun factor. The Funslope offers young and old an adventurous variety when skiing.
Culinary pampering on the mountain
To restore energy and warm up you'll find the catering establishments and après-ski bars here. Alpine hut classics such as Kaiserschmarrn and Käsespätzle can be found in the gastro houses of the Hochkar as well as the best wines and fine dining.

Continuous winter operation from December 6th, 2024 to April 6th, 2025 (if there is sufficient snow)
