The Feldwiesalm near Taschelbach is a popular hiking destination at 1,314 m. During the operation of the hut, overnight accommodation is available in the mattress dormitory for 15 people. The fastest routes to the hut lead from Taschelbach and from Zellerrain to the alp. Larger tours reach from the Gemeindealpe to the Feldwies with descent to the Erlaufsee or from Lackenhof over the Riffelsattel and the "Dirndlmäuer" to the Feldwiesalm.
The physical well-being is also taken care of: the raclette bread with cheese from own production as well as the tasty Almburger inspires every year hikers from near and far, who can also spend the night in the alpine hut (15 places).
