Small but mighty - Cross country skiing in Lunz and Lassing

All you need is a perfectly groomed track and ideally bright sunshine? We would like to present you our smaller but likewise lovely cross-country skiing tracks of the region.

These trails are ideal for children, beginners or those who want peace and tranquility.

Nordic skiing pleasure in Lunz am See

Between the village centre and Lunzer See Lake, not far from the ski resort Maiszinken, you can find both tracks for classic style cross-country skiing on the Gansterer Wiese (1,6 km, Seeau) as well as 1,4 kilometres of skating style tracks. Parking area and toilet facilities are located next to the Seebad (bathing site). The hotel Landhotel Restaurant Zellerhof the closest restaurant and hotel of the small but lovely cross-country skiing territory.

Cross-country skiing fun for families in Göstling an der Ybbs

Lassing

The association "Village Renewal Göstling an der Ybbs" takes care of the cross-country skiing trail in Lassing. The approx. 2.5 km long track is easy to ski and therefore suitable for all ages and experience levels. If there is enough snow, a classic as well as a skating track is drawn. Parking facilities and access to the trail can be found at the former Hochkar mouse point.

Hochmoor

The Hochmoor trail in Hochreit is also perfect for families and beginners. The cross-country ski trail leads around the Hochmoor Leckermoor nature reserve and therefore offers a very special nature and cross-country skiing experience.

A track usage fee of € 5,- supports the association in maintaining the track and the necessary machines.
