This weekend it's time to dig out your skis and hit the slopes - or cross-country ski trails. All of our ski and cross-country skiing areas have already started the winter season. You can find all the information about it here.
Small, fine ski areas
Maiszinken ski area in Lunz am See
Season start: FRI, December 1st, 2023 from 1:00 p.m

Hochkar ski area in Göstling/Ybbs
On SAT, December 2nd, 2023, our highest ski area has started partial operation with the Hochkarbahn and the Almlift over the weekend (December 2nd & 3rd) at reduced rates. Continuous lift operation has begun on December 8th, 2023. You can read more information about the ski area here.

Cross-country skiing in the Ybbstal Alps
The 3 km long cross-country ski trail in Göstling/Ybbs is now classically groomed and the winter hiking trail has already been prepared.
The cross-country skiing center in Lackenhof am Ötscher has started the season on FRI, December 1st, 2023!
The Prolling cross-country ski trail in Ybbsitz is now in operation, as is the Seeau trail in Lunz am See. The Lassing cross-country ski trail has also gone into operation from December 8th, 2023.
