Some places in the Mostviertel have set themselves the goal of further developing the regional hiking offerings and making them increasingly attractive for visitors, guests and local hiking lovers.

The Austrian Hiking Quality Seal is awarded for these efforts. Since 2023, there have also been two towns in the Ybbstal Alps that have received this hiking seal of quality. These are Göstling an der Ybbs and Hollenstein an der Ybbs. In addition to fantastic natural backdrops, the two places offer a wide range of different hiking trails and do not neglect enjoyment and tradition.
