Description
The historic walls of the Charterhouse Gaming (Kartause Gaming) are home to an in-house brewery, where the "Kartausenbräu" is brewed, as well as the restaurant "Kartausenkeller".
The restaurant is open all year round and daily. The Johannastüberl, winter garden and vaulted cellar offer seating for approx. 180 people. In the summer months, the guest garden is also recommended for a cosy stay.
In the menu, tradition meets modernity - creative food combinations as well as numerous vegetarian and vegan alternatives are available. Special monthly offers and theme weeks round off the menu.
Guests can try different varieties of the home-brewed "Kartausenbräu" (light, dark and a seasonal beer) as well as BIER/NEN Radler, Bockbier, Weihnachtsbock, Chili beer or Dinkelweizen beer. The home-brewed beverages are fitting accompaniments to the delicious dishes from the Kartausenkeller kitchen.
