Description
The Hochkaralm at 1,420 m above sea level is the starting point for summit hikes on Hochkar, Schwarzkogel or Häsing. It is located where skiers make their turns in winter.
The alpine hut does not offer any culinary delights, but it is a great place to linger, enjoy the ringing of the cowbells and fortify yourself with the snacks you have brought along.
