Ötscher mountain railways

Mountain railroad / chair lift

This business is excellent…

Description

The magnificent landscape around the majestic Ötscher invites you to hike and discover the father mountain of the Mostviertel. Lackenhof offers countless opportunities to immerse yourself in the enchanting mountain world on 230 km of hiking trails.

The double chairlift Großer Ötscher helps to shorten the hiking time and comfortably brings hiking enthusiasts to the Ötscherschutzhaus, the ideal starting point for the continuation of the tour on the Ötscher, which is rich in views. Tickets for the mountain railway ride can be ordered in advance in the online ticket shop.

In summer, dogs are allowed on the side seat of the double chairlift. Liability lies with the dog owner.

Directly at the valley station of the Ötscher lifts, the 3D archery course invites you to an exciting adventure in the forest.

In winter, nine lifts open up 19 kilometres of slopes. Families and pleasure carvers prefer the almost 3 kilometre long, wide family run. The 5-kilometre-long Riffel run with a beautiful view of the Kleiner Ötscher is moderately difficult. The small and large Ötscher slopes are quite steep down the mountain.
