Autumn at Ybbstal Alps

When the leaves of the forest change color and the sun bathes the landscape in warm light, the golden autumn begins in the Ybbstaler Alps!

Just a dream... or?

For many, autumn is the most beautiful time of the year. Looking around our wooded region, we can only agree. The colorful deciduous trees draw colors from green to orange to deep red, the familiar smell that rises in the nose during a walk through nature, creaking branches under the shoes and now and then mushrooms hiding in the moss - an autumn dream that becomes a reality with us.

Many destinations are still open until the end of October.

Visit for example the Mendlingtal in Göstling an der Ybbs. In autumn you can marvel at a very special spectrum of colors in the adventure world. Also from the mountain railroad you have a wonderful view over the peaks of the Ybbstaler Alps. You have the choice between Ötscher and Hochkar, or rather both?
