Schauwiese Seisenbachau
Outdoor adventure
Description
The Seisenbachau is a very special hotspot of biodiversity. On an intact and mighty peat body, a mosaic of fen, wet meadows and bristly grassland has developed.
The vegetation, which is very species-rich with well over 80 plant species, is dominated by moor grass, brushland, small sedges and cotton grasses. Numerous impressive and endangered flowering plants, including several orchids, still find suitable living conditions here.
