Description
A particularly attractive and freely accessible bathing place is located in Opponitz. The so-called "ox hole" with its characteristic rock offers enough space on the beach and with the perfect river depth it invites you to swim. Nearby is a staging area with barbecue facilities and furniture for resting.
The bathing place is also located directly on the Ybbstal cycle path and is perfect for refreshing heated cyclists' calves.
Those arriving by car use the public parking lot at the waste material collection center, just a few minutes' walk from the bathing area. Some parking spaces are available in the bend "Hofau", directly at the bathing place.
